Privacy policy

This policy explains what Kira collects when you use kirastylist.online, why, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who we are

Kira is operated by Kaustubh Khandelwal, 17-B, New Colony, Gumanpura, Kota, Rajasthan 324007, India. Contact: kaustubh.khandelwal4@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

  • Your name and email, entered before checkout, to identify your order, deliver your report and answer support requests.
  • Three photos of you (face from the front, face from the side, and full length) that you upload after payment. These are the core of the service: your analysis is made from them.
  • Your questionnaire answers (lifestyle, budget, comfort limits, what you want to keep), used to tailor the recommendations.
  • Payment information, handled entirely by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, which sells to you as the merchant of record. We receive an order reference, the amount, the status and your email. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank credentials.
  • Website usage: pages viewed, the landing page you arrived on, and checkout steps you reach, plus the Meta cookies described in section 6.

3. How we use it

To produce and deliver your style analysis, to process your payment, to answer support requests, to prevent fraud and abuse, to measure our advertising, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

4. How your photos are processed

Your analysis is generated automatically by AI models applying Kira's written style method. No person reviews your photos as part of the normal service. To do this we send your photos and answers to AI providers: Anthropic (to read your features and write the analysis) and image-generation models from Google and ByteDance, reached through an API provider, which create the preview images of you. They process your data to return results to us, under their own terms.

We do not use your photos to train AI models. We never publish your photos, your report or your previews, and we never use them in our advertising or as examples on this website.

5. Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to run the service:

  • Dodo Payments, for payments, taxes and refunds;
  • Railway and Cloudflare, for hosting, storage and delivering this website;
  • the AI providers named in section 4, for your analysis and previews;
  • Meta Platforms, for advertising measurement (section 6).

We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.

6. Cookies and advertising measurement

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. This website uses the Meta Pixel, and our server sends Meta the same events through Meta's Conversions API, so we can tell which ads lead to a visit, a checkout or a purchase. These events include the page, the price and a hashed (one-way scrambled) copy of your email and name, which Meta uses to match the event to an ad it showed you. Meta processes this under its own privacy policy. You can control how Meta uses this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

7. How long we keep it

Your photos, answers and report are kept so you can reopen your report. You can ask us to delete them at any time and we will do so within 30 days of your request. Payment records are kept for 8 years, as Indian tax law requires.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing kaustubh.khandelwal4@gmail.com from the address you ordered with. You can nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity, as the DPDP Act provides. Grievance Officer: Kaustubh Khandelwal, kaustubh.khandelwal4@gmail.com. 9. Children

Kira is for people aged 18 and over. Do not upload photos of anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Photos are stored privately and are reachable only through short-lived links. Access is limited to what running the service needs. No method is perfectly secure; report concerns to the email above.
